Lab alum Edwin (Ned) Willig was just accepted at the University of Wisconsin Law School, where he will pursue a degree in environmental law. Ned got a MS in Natural Resources and the Environment at U Michigan after his time in the lab. Good luck on the next phase Ned!<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s been a big month for Lindsay McCulloch<\/a>. First – she successfully defended her dissertation! Second, she was awarded a prestigious NOAA postdoctoral fellowship, and will be joining Benton Taylor’s Lab as a postdoc this summer. Third, her paper on symbiotic N fixation was accepted at New Phytologist. Congratulations all around Lindsay!<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Porder Lab alums Aida Feng, Jonathan Gewirtzman and Lovinia Reynolds are all now Ph.D. students at Yale.  Back to school looks a little different this year – good luck to all!<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Possibly<\/a> – a podcast about sustainability science started by Stephen, producer Megan Hall and Journalist Nancy Pick, is now broadcast weekly during Morning Edition on The Public’s Radio (formerly RIPR).  It is also available on iTunes and Stitcher.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
